ONE STUDENT, ONE COMPUTER IN THE NEXT THREE MONTH-MINISTER OF EDUCATION ON THE AHAFO TOUR
As part of Education Minister, Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum’s tour in the Ahafo Region, he paid a visit to Acherensua Senior High School (ACHISCO)in the Ahafo Region
He was led by Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon.George Yaw Boakye, Ahafo Regional Education Directorate, and other dignitaries.
In his speech at ACHISCO, he promised that within the next 3 months, there’s going to be a pilot program that will put computers in the hands of every single student in some selected schools.
He said teachers will be trained as to how they will use the computers to teach to make teaching and learning easier and more effective.
Hon. Dr. Osei Adutwum further visited the Goaso Manhene at his palace.
Nana Kwasi Bosomprah, Goaso Manhene appealed to the Minister to provide more desks and chairs to various schools not in Ahafo alone but in Ghana as a whole.
